You leave Oviedo by N-634 in Santander direction until arriving at El Berrn. These first kilometers pass by a road with ample border and little circulation, since there is a highway that absorves most of the traffic. When arriving at the Berrn turn to the right to take the road that goes towards the Felguera.
Padrun
Kilometers after this deviation begins the first ascent of the day: The Gargantada, four kilometers of little unevenness. The drop leads to the Felguera where will have to follow the posters that indicate towards Mieres, with the intention of taking the road of San Emiliano. This ascent has five kilometers little harder than the previous port. This road has enough traffic, with which there is to carry far the precautions.
La Manzaneda
The drop, of about seven kilometers, finishes in Mieres where there you have to take the AS-242, old Oviedo-Mieres road, that crosses the two last ascents of the route: The Padrn and the Manzaneda. The first one has a hard part of about 800 meters in the beginning, which is left by a false section of level until the top. The drop, very well-known by its revolts (curved of 180), finishes in Olloniego and after crossing the village the Manzaneda begins, that is the hardest ascent of the route with an initial hill of almost one kilometer to 14% that leads to the village of the same name, happened this hill the ascent consists in a combination of rests alternate with hard sections although not as hard as the one of the principle.
