The Vuelta innovates with a stage with new route wich goes trhrough the southwest zone of Asturias and ends at La Cobertoria. Next day the race leaves Asturias to arrive at Cantabria

The race enters in Asturias through Ibias, and after a hard and new route, where outstands the climbs of Connio and San Lorenzo, ends at La Cobertoria
