the DVD "La Patata" was taken during the time when Caroline was staying in germany because of Dan. He wasn�t doing well then and he wanted her to be there since she�s a nurse and one of the only "medical people" he fully trusted in. Caroline was also in germany when Dan died. She cared for him during his last months of life. She went back home after his funeral. All in all she stayed in germany for about 1 1/2 years, not full time but always 3 - 6 months in a row. Then she went back home for 2 or 3 weeks and returned to germany then.

Caroline also managed to get a contact between Kathy and her mother Joanne again ! Caroline has pretty good contact to her mother and somehow she managed to fix this relationship again.

Kathy and Paddy are the family members Caroline has best contact to. She still fancies Paddy whom she always loved best. She always called him her "Baby boy" and whenever she wants to tease him, she�s calling him that nowadays

Caroline is married to a man called Julian and they live in the region of Albaquerque. They don�t have children. Danny lives not far away from her on a farm for mentally disabled. She looks after him pretty often.

She likes carrying for her home and beautiful garden and to read books. But she sometimes also surfes the internet and chats.

Her husband Julian is also of spanish origin. Caroline hardly spoke any German when she came to Germany though she understood almost everything. She started "re-learning" it before she came to Germany...but just for fun.
