Frank Zappa - You Are What You In (1981)

Do You Know Who You Are? You Are What You Is...

Zappa's back with a real beauty of an album! As is usually the case with a Frank Zappa album, the music must be heard to be believed. The incredible sound of this album is laced with Zappa's wry satirical wit.

It seems that (to Zappa at least) nothing is sacred, as wittnessed in cuts like "The Meek Shall Inherit Nothing", "Dumb All Over" and the title track. But beyond his sarcastic demeaner, Zappa makes some good points in this album, about big money religion, politics and how the two shouldn't be allowed to mix.

A great romp through the twisted musical world of Frank Zappa, "You Are What You Is" has the potential to be a modern classic. Check it out!
