Colleen Power - Lucky You Are (2002)

Colleen Power burst's onto the local recording scene with her dynamic debut CD, 'Lucky You Are'. This album is as diverse and individual as Colleen is herself. Lively, buoyant, (at times) funny, brilliant, and definately unique. In fact, this album is so infectious, I dare you to listen to this CD and not start tapping your toes!

While you are enjoying this CD, don't make the mistake of trying to categorize it. This album defies being pigeonholed into one musical genre. Produced by Don Ennis, and featuring a who'se who of the Newfoundland music fraternity, this album shifts from hi-octain rock, to traditional, to traditional, to ballad's, with amazing ease.

Beyond the incredible sonic quality of this album, there's colleens lyric's, which display a passionate heart and lust for life, sprinkled with a little touch of the fairie dust.
