Rick Lambe - Lost Time (2003)
Rick Lambe is no stranger to the Newfoundland music scene, having played the bar circuit for years, in a host of bands, including the Gravel Pit Campers. He now steps into the spotlight with his first solo CD, and wonderfully comfortable accoustic effort called "Lost Time".
Beyond being a fine singer and songwriter, Rick is first and formost a music fan. His love of music translates well in this CD, with unique arrangments, lively lyric's, and a homey feel that is often lost in modern recordings.
The root's influence in this CD is unmistakable. Rick is a big fan of bluegrass, which finds it's way into the style of the music, without totally taking over the sound. This CD holds to it's root's, while walking the warn path of todays music. A tricky balancing act that only a musician with the talent of Rick Lambe can pull off.
