FISHIN' BUDDIES! Youth Fishing Club
The "FISHIN' BUDDIES! Youth Fishing Club had its origins in 1991 with the South Suburban Bassmasters. The South Suburban Bassmasters was an organization of African-American professional men and women who loved the art and sport of Largemouth Bass fishing.
Mr. John Kidd, President of South Suburban Bassmasters, wished to expand that group's mission to include the teaching of Bass fishing to children. "FISHIN' BUDDIES!" has since greatly expanded its mission and range of activities to include; environmental and ecological concerns, activities, and education, and to providing summer and part-time environmental restoration work programs for teenagers.
