Dexter’s Service Center & Lang Surveying continue to dominate chess league

In round 6 varsity action, Dexter’s got a lucky break when Brian Garges pulled out a draw against Northwest’s second board Colin Ulin costing Northwest a second place berth and placing Dexter’s a full point ahead in the race.  Smith’s Awards & Trophies are one point behind, and there is a three-way tie for third among Bradford Window, Northwest, and Dr. Laroche.

In the junior varsity section, Lang Surveying maintained the lead with 16.5 points, but Smith’s Watch & Clock Repair is only a half a point behind with 16.  Gravitz & Associates and Tasta Pizza are a full 3 points back with 13 each.
