• Profession: Private Detective. He was a police officer and partners with Inspector Megure, then he quite(after having so many failures).
• Known as: Sleeping Kogoro (thanks to Conan)
• Favourite star: Yoko Okino
• First Appearance: File 2 of Volume 1 and Episode 2.
• Hobbies: Smoking, drinking beer in front of TV and watch horse races or Yoko Okino's shows. Drooling in front of pretty girls (LOL).
• Good at: Karate and shooting.
• Not Good at:
  • Sense of Direction (everytime he drives to a new place, there seems to be a tendency of getting lost)
  • Skiing (there's always a good chance for him to hit a tree)
  • Scared of Heights
  • Deductions (he chose the wrong profession)

• He seems to know Yusaku Kudo (they might be friends, not sure). At the moment, Kogoro Mouri thinks he is the best detective in the world. Since he has solved so many crimes that he can't even remember what they were anymore. (He's been sleeping through most of them. Only very few crimes were solved when he was awake.) He seems to be a target for Conan to practice his shooting skills at the moment, and Kogoro is enjoying every moment of it. (^_^)
