astringency makes them effective when made into a mouthwash for bleeding gums and mouth ulcers
leaf tea to ease childbirth

leaves: sedative effect

fruit: fiber constipation

antioxidant
prevent degenerative diseases and cancer
ellagic acid is not destroyed by cooking so that respberry preserves and jams are still beneficial
oxalic acid can cause kidney and bladder stones in some if taken in large amounts and it inhibits the absorption of iron and calcium
raspberry leaf tea: raspberry leaves boiling water honey mint or lemon balm let infuse for 15 minutes and sweeten with honey
