JASMINE
A concrete is produced from the flowers by solvent extraction. The
absolute is obtained from the concrete by separation with alcohol.
A second essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the
absolute.
The absolute is a dark orange-brown viscous liquid with an
intensely rich, warm floral scent and a tea-like undertone.
