I have named many of my Cavaliers after Bee Gees or Andy Gibb songs.  This is my "Playlist" of their songs which have been included in my dogs' names.  The prefix is at the beginning of the name (e.g. Chelport, Leisureview and Selcarim) and the rest makes up the registered name.  "Ch" before a name denotes Champion.  

In Australia, we can register our dogs with names of our choosing, but within certain limits.  For example, we can only have 24 characters in a name (including spaces and kennel prefix), and cannot use certain words such as "imp" or "of", a brand name, or a word which is similar to someone else's prefix.  So we sometimes have to remove letters, mis-spell, or run words together to meet the criteria.  Hence some of these names may look a little odd!

With the passing of Maurice Gibb only a few days after my January 2003 babies were born, I felt it only appropriate that I use his song from their last album for one of the babies' names.  Ironically, I liked the song anyway, and had hoped to have a boy born in the middle of this litter, so that I could use the name - "Maninthemiddle".
