......

I was very lucky in my early involvement with showing and breeding, to have had such sound, healthy Cavaliers to start me off.  They enabled a strong foundation to be built for the future, and meant I could show my dogs with complete confidence that their movement would hold up to scrutiny.  That soundness has been rewarded with some lovely wins over the years, and below I have highlighted several of these.  For such a small kennel, we haven't done too badly!...

September 2007: Murphy won BEST IN SHOW (all breeds Champ show) under breed specialist Helen Furber (“Furbari”). With his previous results, this win made Murphy the highest ever awarded wholecolour in South Australia (a record he still holds as at January 2018). He was only the third wholecolour to win BIS in SA, second Ruby, the first of these wholecolours to be owner/ bred/ handled, and second generation BIS winning Ruby. Sadly, he passed away from cancer at a young age.

He retired the weekend after his second Runner Up in Group award, leaving his record as:

Best in Show

2 Best in Group

2 Runner Up in Group

Multi classes in Group

Best Ruby (coat class) in 2 States

Best Parent and Offspring (SA Specialty)
