| Powers of Three |
| Book of Shadows The Book of Shadows was started by the Charmed Ones' ancestor, Melinda Warren, the first Witch in their family. Every generation has added to the magical text with spells, demonology, and more. Over time the Book has developed its own "being". Sometimes the sisters will spend hours trawling through its pages. Other times, it will open exactly to the page they request and will even open on a required page of its own free will. |
| The Power of Three The most powerful asset of the Charmed Ones. Combining their energies and their Powers, they can make anything happen. It is their bonds to one another which make the Three so powerful and it is the only way to vanquish certain evils. The Power of Three is not wholly magical. It also lies in how the sisters fight: together. |
| Potions The Charmed Ones learned how to mix potions from the Book of Shadows. It took a long time to fully handle this ability but they developed an understanding with it and are well informed as to which ingredients do what and which they need for ceratin effects. A poof of smoke signifies when the Potion is finished. Piper is the main Potion mixer and she handed her knowledge down to Paige when she first became a Witch. Since the Charmed Powers will not always affect certain Demons and Warlocks, the sisters keep an arsenal of Potions for almost every eventuality. |
| Spells Phoebe is the primary Spell writer. Spells are often the only way to vanquish Demons and Warlocks. They can be written to overcome many things and can be very unpredictable. Upon reading a Spell, the consequences can be disastrous, not working the way the sisters had invisioned it to work. They have turned themselves into many things, including a dog and a Mermaid, due to Spells gone awry. A Power of Three Spell is the most powerful. It needs all three sisters to read it together, or for them to join energies while one or two of them read. It is the only way to vanquish certain Demons and Warlocks. |
| The Charmed Ones need the Power of Three, Potion/Spell combination to vanquish the most powerful Demons and Warlocks. |
| Improvisation Though not a magical Power, this is certainly a powerful asset. In certain situation, magic is not always enough. The sister learned to think quick and anything is a potential weapon or shield. |
