VANCOUVER, British Columbia (Ticker) -- Duncan O'Mahony's 40-yard field goal in overtime lifted the B.C. Lions to a 27-25 victory over the Saskatchewan Roughriders and a berth in the Grey Cup.

By winning the Western Division Final, the Lions advanced to their eighth championship game, where they will meet the winner of the Eastern Division Final between the Toronto Argonauts and the Montreal Alouettes.

The Grey Cup is slated for November 21 in Ottawa.

O'Mahony made his first career playoff field goal with six seconds left in regulation, a 47-yarder that tied the score, 24-24.

The Roughriders had first possession in overtime, but Paul McCallum missed an 18-yard attempt, earning just a single.

Casey Printers, who was 19-of-27 for 242 yards, found Ryan Thelwell for a 78-yard score on the second play of the game, giving B.C. a 7-0 edge. Thelwell had nine receptions for 183 yards.

But Printers left the game with a shoulder injury in the fourth quarter and was relieved by veteran Dave Dickinson, who found Antonio Warren for a 29-yard score to put the Lions in front, 21-14. Dickinson was 9-of-11 for 155 yards.

Henry Burris rallied Saskatchewan late in the fourth quarter, throwing a five-yard TD to Elijah Thurmon in the corner of the end zone to give the Roughriders a 24-21 lead with 65 seconds left. Burris was 28-of-39 for 416 and three touchdowns, including two to Thurmon.

Saskatchewan missed out on scoring chances in the third quarter when Burris had a 17-yard TD run called back for holding and Kenton Keith fumbled at the B.C. 5-yard line.

The Lions are in the title game for the first time since 2000, when they defeated Montreal, 28-26 for the championship.
