He was all heart in his 18-year career, 10 with the Argos, four with Balmy Beach and four

with Edmonton.  The Guard and Tackle celebrated Grey Cup victories with the Argos (1937,

1938, 1945, 1946 & 1947) and with Edmonton (1954) while losing in only one Grey Cup

Game (1952 when Edmonton lost to Toronto).
