NELSON, ROGER (Elected as a Player, August 17, 1985.)
One of the most consistent offensive tackles ever to play in the Canadian Football League, he
made consistency his byword. Through the course of his career he gained the reputation of
never missing an assignment and four times was named a Western All-Star. In 1959 he was
named the Schenley Most Outstanding Lineman. He played 13 seasons for the Edmonton
Eskimos between 1954 and 1967.
