Family bio
Birth date estimated. from 1845 Hesselbjerg census
Per Arne Knudby:
'Hans Andersen had the following children:
1. Maren Hansdatter, baptized 14 Dec. 1806.
2. Rasmus Hansen, bapt. 18 April 1808. - Among the witnesses were a Maren Mortensdatter, Jacob Andersen, Anders Andersen and Anne Andersdatter, all of Hesselbjerg.
3. Anders Hansen, born 20 April 1810. Among the witnesses were a Anne Mortensdatter, serving at the manor Lykkesholm, and a Maren Andersdatter.
- Under funerals we see the following entry: "13 March 1811 buried smallholder Anders Hansen' s son Anders of Hesselbjerg, 1 year old." I think it is an error made by the vicar. I think this Anders Hansen in fact is Hans Andersen, because we see that Hans Andersen had another son baptized in 1812, and under funerals there are no other entries about a little boy of the name Anders.
4. "1812, 19 Jan. smallholder Hans Andersen and Karen Mortensdatter in Hesselbjerg their son , who was baptized in the home and called Anders, was presented in the church and his baptism confirmed, and he was carried by Sidsel Jacobsdatter. Witnesses: Jorgen Hansen; Jacob Andersen; Anne Andersdatter; Anne Jeppesdatter and Karen Andersdatter, all from Hesselbjerg."
5. Ane Hansdatter, born ca. 1816
6. Kristine Hansdatter, born 4 May 1819
7. Marie Hansdatter, born 16 Sept. 1821
(and maybe more children).
