According to Thomas Shank- he moved to Washington County Tennessee from North Carolina about 1745. Also information from Equity Court Records from Laurens Co., South Carolina and old family records by William Blakely written in 1946.
He is believed to be buried in Old Providence Presbyterian Church Graveyard in Greene Co., TN
