Nov 9, 1905, "Paul Hoppy is now in New Mexico with Rev. Dr. Steele, the evangelist, having charge of the singing at the meating conducted by Dr. Steele. It is said they are meeing with great success in their field of labor."
Sep 20, 1906, "Paul R. Hoppe, who was formerly employed as a clerk by F. J. Schamber while the latter was keeping store at Eureka buy who is now travelling as a singer for an evangelist now working in this section, spent yesterday in this city. While here he visits Mr. Schamber."
Jan 12, 1917, "Rev. Paul Robert Hoppe, Ph. D., pastor of the Ross Memorial church, Binghampton, N. Y., will accompany Mr. Steele to Chicago. Rev. Hoppe, before entering the ministry traveled with Mr. Steele as singing evangelist."
