"November 2, 1637, Robert Fletcher was chosen constable of Concord." He emigrated from Yorkshire, England, bringing with him three sons, Luke, William, and Samuel, and settled in Concord, Mass., where he subsequently lived until his death on April 5, 1677, at the age of eighty-five years."
