"PAA family from Bohemia
Author: DeAnna Tess Date: 24 Aug 2000 4:23 AM GMT
I am researching the PAA family from Kreis Bischofteinitz, Bohemia, possibly from the village of Unterhutten (Unterhütten). My line settled in Langlade Co., WI although there appears to be some Paa families that settled in New Ulm, MN. I am descended from:
Theresa PAA born: 19 May 1839 in Kreis Bischofteinitz, Bohemia
married: c. 1859 John KNOTT in Kreis Bischofteinitz, Bohemia
died: 22 Mar 1926 Antigo, Langlade Co., WI There was also a Robert Paa who settled in Langlade Co. WI whom I believe was her brother:
Robert PAA born: 21 Jun 1841 in Kreis Bischofteinitz, Bohemia
married: c. 1863 Marie SERVI in Kreis Bischofteinitz, Bohemia
died: 25 Feb 1929 Rolling Twp., Langlade Co., WI The listing of their parents on their death certificates are unclear, but they may have been the children of Valentine PAA and Margaret BEYER of Bohemia."2Antigo Daily Journal; Antigo, Langlade, WI.
