3Wanda Johnson, Fam. Gen. Researcher, email, Morris Family in Indiana.
"Born April 11, 1834 Rush County, IN and died November 4, 1916 [in either] Saco, Montana or Barron, Wisconsin. Married on 7 June 1857 in Knox Co, IL to Martha A. Martin, born 20 August 1837 and died 9 December 1885.

Found a notice in Wyoming IL Post Herald under Toulon News that Martha Morris, wife of George Morris died December 17, 1885. It stated that she had been a sufferer with typhoid fever for sometime, but it is thought her death resulted from heart disease. It stated that she had united with the M. E. Church in early life and during these many years had been a faithful consistent active Christian. She had worked so cheerfully and so hard the last year for the new church building and just as it was completed, she folded her weary hands and went to rest in the beautiful mansion which her Father had prepared for her.

After Martha’s death, George moved sometime between 1885 and 1916 to Montana with son William Charles and settled on patent Government land in the County of Phillips. This patent contained 320 acres. In 17 July 1916, he deeded this land to son Charles for One Dollar and other valuable consideration. Then in September 1921, Charles W. Morris and wife Ethel M. Morris sold this land to J. E. Arnot of Saco, Montana. It appears that Charles was then living in County of Barron, State of Wisconsin."
indicates that middle name is William.
