Charles Parmenter

1Dean Huseby, Fam. Gen. Researcher, GenForum.com.
"My Charles Parmater was born on 11/11/1790 in Vermont. Married to Rhoda Stone. Died on 10/27/1870 in ST. Larwence County, New York. We should compare data because my Charles had five stons and three daughters. The sons were Charles Jr., John, William, Nathan and Harvey. What is your source about being born in Bernard, Vermont. I am wondering if mine was also from that town."

21850 United States Census; NY; St. Lawrence, Series: M432 Roll: 591 Page: 240, Genealogy.com.
Name spelled Parmeter.

"Charles was born on Nov. 11, 1790 in Vermont. Married Rhoda Stone (daughter of Nathan Stone and Eunice Priest) on April 16, 1819. Charles died in St Lawrence Co. New York near Louisville on 10-27-1870. There is some thought that he was born about 20 miles from Boston. Rhoda was born in Louisville but her family was from Hubbardstown Mass. with roots in Rutland and Lexington."
