I have been looking for Sally Crane (my Great-Great-Grandmother) for years.I had received this same info. last year but I was using Alton Rogers site on Rootsweb for the birthdates of the Crane girls and he seemed to have them all, but I found this by comparing the Census to his data.1790 4 females1 Sarah-wifw2 Nancy B-17823 Clarinda B-17844 ?1800 6 females1 U10 Abigail B-17952 U10 Rachel B-17933 10-15 Clarinda B17844 10-15 ?5 16-25 Nancy B 17826 Sarah-Wife1810 6 females1 U10 Theda B-18022 10-15 Abigail3 16-25 Rachel4 16-25 Clarinda5 16-25 ?6 Sarah-wifeIn 1810 Nancy had married Charles Stevens and is listed on the 1810 Census with him. This is why I could not place Sally because I did not realize Nancy was married.Sally Crane, wife of Samuel Douglass fits into all the ? spots.I'm satisfied this is our Sally! Hope you agree.Bev----- Original Message ----- "... I believe I have found Sally (Sarah) Crane. A researcher in Vermont sent me this information.
