"Wilbur Douglas Dies Suddenly Satruday
Wilbur Douglas, 68, died at his home herre suddenly on Saturday after an illness of a few days.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mrs. Alma Wiseman, whom he married just a week before his death. He also leaves three brother and two sisters, Virgil of Baraboo, Archie of Minneapolis, and Vivian of Madison, Mrs. Flossie Spauling of North Freedom, and Mrs. Eva Black of Beloit. Two Sisters preceded him in death. Mrs. Blanch Hanger and Mrs. Chloe DeBois of North Freedom.
The funeral was held on Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock at the Gant Funeral Home and at 1:30 at theMethodist church. The Rev. G. S. Joslin officiated. Burial was in the Greenwood cemetery.
Wilbur B. Douglas as born in the town of Freedom on March 15, 1875. On Oct. 22, 1902, he was united in marriage to Belle Fuller, who preceded in death on Nov. 12 1941.
Mr. Douglas was a butter mater for about 30 years at Ableman and in and around Reedsburg. About 17 years ago he build he house where he made his home. He was a faithful member of the Reedsburg Methodist church and for many years was one of its stewards."

"Mrs. Wilber B. Douglas Succumbs Wednesday
Mrs Wilbur B. Douglas, 60, died at her home on East Main street on Wednesday, Nov. 12. She had been in poor health for som time.
She is survived by her husband; a brother John D. Fuller, seveal nieces and nephews, and a large circle of friends.
The Funeral was held at the Methodist chuch on Saturday afternoon with Rev. G. S. Joslin officiatiing.
Pallbearers were Ed. Snyder, Louis Hyser, A. C. Hanson, Geroge O'Conner, Art Buckley, and Howard Wickerham.
Burieal was made in the Greenwood cemetery. Gant Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
Belle Fuller, daughter of Artemus and Harriet Fuller, was born in the town of WInfield, on Sept. 8, 1881. On Oct 22, 1902, was was united in marriage to Wilbur B. Douglas. She lived her entire life in this community. 22 years in Ableman, and 17 years in Reedsburg. Last month was the 39th anniversary of their marriage.
