Joseph R. Fleischman, 63, of 205 Wilson street, grader operator for the city of Antigo for the past 38 years, died early today at the Langlade County Memorial hospital. T

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Fleischman was born Dec. 12, 1899, in the town of Rolling. He married Mary Hubatch and after her death was married Nov. 25, 1926, in Antigo to Clara Skarlupka who survives. Also surviving are a daughter and three sons, Mrs. Ernest (Josephine) Lee and Conrad of Antigo, Eugene of Watertown, Wis., and Thomas of Nekoosa, Wis. Others surviving are two sisters and a brother, Mrs. Barbara Hubatch of Milwaukee, Mrs. Kate Zoern of Jackson, Mich. and Charles Fleischman of Antigo; 19 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A son Jerome died in infancy. Also deceased are four sisters and three brothers, Mrs. Anna Young, Mrs. Mary Mares, Mrs. Frances Koehler, Mrs. Grace Carley, John, James and Frank.

Mr. Fleischman was a member of St. John's Catholic church and the Holy Name Society of the church. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John's church with the Rev. Leo Binder officiating. Burial will be in the Queen of Peace cemetery. Friends may call at the McCandless-Zobel and Bradley funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday and the rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Wednesday by the parish and the Holy Name men."

"Hubatch, Franz "Frank" "The Antigo Daily Journal" Antigo, Langlade County, WI Thursday, September 30, 1954 - page 3. Frank Hubatch, 80, Long Time Resident Of Rolling, Dies Frank Hubatch, long time resident of the town of Rolling, died in Milwaukee early Saturday morning at the age of 80. He had been making his home with his daughter, Mrs. Catherine Carley in Milwaukee, since January of this year. Mr. Hubatch suffered a stroke Sept. 1 and died at the Milwaukee General hospital Sept. 25. Born in Austria Oct. 18, 1874, he came to Langlade county in 1894. In July of 1897, he was married to Barbara Flieschman [sic] at St. John's Catholic church. They settled on a farm in the town of Rolling. Surviving are 11 children. They are John, Frank, Albert, Christ, Lawrence, Fred, Robert, Peggy Peters, Sophia Schreiber, Agnes Lynch, Catherine Carley; 25 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and a brother. Two children preceded him in death. Funeral services were conducted at St. Michael's Catholic church in Milwaukee Monday at 9 a.m. Interment was in the Holy Cross cemetery. Those who attended the funeral from Antigo were Mr. and Mrs. Albert Fleischman, Ann Markgraf, Rasmus Hoecherl, Mr. and Mr. Joseph Hubatch, Robert Hubatch, Mrs. Christ Pregler, Mrs. Barbara Schwingl, Mrs. and Mrs. Charles Fleischman, Mrs. and Mrs. Fred Hubatch and family, Christ Hubatch and son, Dick, Fred Knott, Leo Blemke, Mrs. Joseph Fleischman, Josephine, Frank and Pauline Skarlupka, and Martha Baraniak. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Mares of Kenosha; Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Mares and Alvina Mares of Racine; and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dobrinska of Kenosha."
