"Hubatch, Robert "The Antigo Daily Journal" Antigo, Langlade County, WI Thursday, August 15, 1957 - page 3. Obituary Robert Hubatch, 85, Rolling Farmer, Dies Robert Hubatch, 85, retired logger and farmer of the town of Rolling, died at 6 p. m. yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Fleischman in the town of Rolling. Born Oct. 8, 1871, in Austria, he came to this country in 1892, locating on a farm in the town of Rolling where he was one of the areas earliest settlers. He married Barbara Knott in August of 1895 who preceded him in death July 12, 1941. He retired in 1943. Mr. Hubatch was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Antigo. Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Robert (Ann) Fleischman, town of Rolling; Mrs. Arthur (Betty) Wagner and Mrs. Joseph (Harriet) Kalz, Antigo; Mrs. Joseph (Theresa) Wisniewski, Steven's Point; Mrs. Ben (Clara) Soik, Milwaukee; and Mrs. John (Magalyn) Vermillion, Newark, O., five sons, John, Joseph, Henry, Herbert and Max, all of Antigo; 28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by four daughters; five sons; four sisters, Mrs. John Markgraf, Mrs. Joseph Seis, Mrs. Wenzel Schelbauer [Schedlbauer] and Mrs. Catherine Holler, and two brothers, George and Frank. Funeral services will be held at 9 a. m. Saturday at St. John's Catholic Church with the Rev. Leo Binder officiating. Interment will be in Queen of Peace cemetery. Friends may call at the McCandless-Zobel and Bradley funeral home from 7 p. m. Thursday until time of services at the church. The rosary will be said at 8 p. m. Friday at the funeral home."

Hubatch Town of Rolling Woman Collapses in Business Section Mrs. Robert Hubatch, 65, resident of the town of Rolling for 45 years, died Saturday evening in a local physician's office, shortly after she had collapsed on Fifth avenue near Clermont street. Mr. and Mrs. Hubatch had attended a motion picture and were on the way to their car when Mrs. Hubatch collapsed. Mrs. Hubatch was the mother of 20 children, 11 whom survive her. She leaves the following survivors: her husband; four sons, John of the town of Norwood, Henry of Antigo, Herbert, town of Rolling, and Max at home; six daughters, Anna, Mrs. Robert Fleischman, town of Rolling, Theresa, Mrs. Joseph Wozneski [Wisniewski], Stevens Point, Clara, Mrs. Ben Suick [Soik] of Stevens Point, Magelin, Mrs. John Vermillion, Newark, O., Elizabeth, Mrs. Arthur Meyer [Wagner] of Antigo; 16 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, Fred Knott and John Knott, Route 3 Antigo; three sisters, Mrs. John Fleischman and Mrs. Mary Teipner and Mrs. Theresa Byrne [Beron]. Friends may call at the Hubatch home in the town of Rolling. Funeral services will be held at St. John's church Tuesday morning at 9 o'clock with the Rt. Rev. Msgr. Conrad Saile officiating. DULUTH DEATHS
Mrs. Tressia Beron, 86, of 2519 Plymouth Ave., died Monday in a Duluth hospital. A native of Germany, she had resided in Duluth 22 years and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Knutson, Moline., Ill., and Mrs. Milton Landin, Duluth; four sons, Raymond J., Proctor; Dwight E., Minneapolis, and Willard and Gordon, both of Duluth; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
