Mrs. George J. Douglas died at her home in this town on Wednesday April 19, 1899, and the funeral was held on Friday at North Freedom. Her death was caused by heart trouble and was sudden and unexpected, and a general feeling of sadness fell on every heart as the news was spread. The home of Mrs. Douglas was her world--her whole life and energy was spent for her family, and the sympathy of every heart goes out to the frief stricken father and children."
