Edward I. Igl, 80, of Dousman died Tuesday, April 27, 2004, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born in Cudahy on March 24, 1924, the son of Isidor and Emily (Soyka) Igl.

He and his late wife Rose had farmed in Dousman most of their lives, and later Ed had been employed at St. Johnﾕs Military Academy in Delafield. He was a member of St. Brunoﾕs Catholic Church in Dousman.
He is survived by his children, Edward (Ellen) Igl of Fox Lake, Rosemarie (Joel) Harris of Fosston, Minn., Anthony (Darlene) Igl of Oconomowoc, Lawrence (Amy) Igl of Jamestown, N.D., Jacqueline (Dan) Manning of Thiensville, Geralyn (Steve) Ferkel of Appleton, Carolyn (Paul) Cripps of Huston, Minn., Andrew (Greta) Igl of Menomonee Falls, Cinthia Igl of Hartland and Cheryl Igl of Milwaukee; 21 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Rose; his daughter, Nancy; two brothers, James and Robert; and his sister, Dorothy Kemmerling.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at St. Brunoﾕs Catholic Church in Dousman. Burial will be at St. Brunoﾕs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of Mass on Saturday at the church.
If desired, memorials for Masses in Edﾕs name or St. Brunoﾕs building fund are appreciated.

Services will be tonight for Rose A. Igl, 66, of Dousman, who died Saturday at Waukesha Memorial Hospital.
She was a playground supervisor at St. Bruno School and a member of St. Bruno Christian Women and St. Bruno Catholic Church, all in Dousman.
Survivors include her husband, Edward; four sons, Edward (Ellen) of Fox Lake, Anthony (Darlene) of Oconomowoc, Lawrence (Amy) of Jamestown, N.C., and Andrew of Menomonee Falls; six daughters, Rosemarie (Joel) Harris of West Haven, Utah, Jacqueline (Dan) Manning of Thiensville, Geralyn (Steve) Ferkel of Appleton, Carolyn (Paul) Cripps of Houston, Minn., Cynthia Igl of Dousman and Cheryl Igl of Milwaukee; four brothers, William Griesemer of Texas, Dennis Griesemer of Arizona, Bernard (Pat) Griesemer of Campellsport and Robert (Donna) Griesemer of Waukesha; two sisters, Louise (Matthew) Prazak of Texas and Karen (Joseph) Benkowski of Menomonie; and 18 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. today until the services at 6:30 at the church, 266 W. Ottawa Ave. Father John Schreiter will officiate. Burial will be at St. Bruno Cemetery. The Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc, is handling the arrangements. Memorial Masses at the church or memorials to the American Cancer Society were suggested.
