Arline R. Igl age 91 of Antigo died Sunday, October 15, 2006 in Wausau at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Born October 10, 1915 in Antigo to the late Joseph and Mary (Rauen) Wolf, she married Henry Igl November 27, 1954 at St. John Catholic Church, Antigo. He died September 13, 1999. Mrs Igl is a member of St. John Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers and Altar Society, Woman?s Catholic Order of Foresters, Out and In Homemakers Club, the Senior Citizens club of Langlade County, and the Leland Tollefson Post 2653 Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Mrs. Igl graduated from Antigo High School with the class of 1936. Following her graduation, she employed as a housekeeper, for Works Progress Association, for the Langlade Memorial Hospital, Weinbrenner Shoe Factory, and seasonally for the Baker Canning Factory. She retired in 1980. In her retirement she baby sat for neighbors, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, painting, playing sacred, patriotic, and old time songs on her portable keyboard. She is survived by a son Adrian (Kathy Olson) Igl of Antigo, seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by two sisters; Alice Ashbrook, and Opal Berndt, and three brothers; Fabian Wolf, Raymond Wolf, and Albert Wolf. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 19, 2006 at St. John Catholic Church. Rev. Charles Hoffmann will officiate. Visitation, including a 5:30 PM Wake Service, will be held Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. And will continue Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 at the Bradley Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Queen of Peace Cemetery, Antigo."6Obituary.
