JOAN E. (HARRIS) TARBLE, 65, of Twin Peninsula Avenue, a homemaker, died Monday at South County Hospital, Wakefield.
She was the wife of Wilson Tarble. Born in Providence, a daughter of the late William Harris Sr. and Sylvia (Hulton) Harris, she had lived in South Kingstown for many years.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Cheryl Nelson of Lexington S.C., and Michelle Shepard and Bethany Lizotte, both of Cranston; a brother, William Harris Jr. of Scituate; two stepsons, Douglas Tarble of Pittsford, N.Y., and James Tarble in California; two stepdaughters, Patricia Belanger of Delray Beach, Fla., and Nancy Stokes of Woonsocket; 14 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
The funeral will be held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Butterfield Chapel, 500 Pontiac Ave., Cranston. Burial will be in Smithville Cemetery, Scituate."4Tarble Genealogy.
