BEA Silkscreening Party

Have you ever wanted to learn how to silkscreen? Do you want to make your own radical feminist clothes or posters? It's cheap and very creative. In preparation for the Wake Up the Earth Festival (May 4th), Boston Ecofeminist Action is holding an ecofeminist silkscreening party. It's scheduled for Saturday, April 27th at 12:30PM, tentatively located at the Tufts Crafts Center. Meet at the Davis Square T station and we'll walk there. If you have a design or want to make one, please email it as an attachment to [email protected]. If you cannot scan it, please send it to 14 william st., somerville, ma 02144.

Relatively simple and bold designs are easiest to print; detailed line-art is difficult to print. ALL DESIGNS NEED TO BE RECEIVED BY APRIL 19TH, so that i can make them into screens. The goal is to produce shirts and posters that BEA can sell as a fundraiser at the festival. If you want to make some for yourself as well, that's fine, just bring your own shirt/paper for any personal prints. Otherwise, materials will be provided. If you have materials you'd like to bring or donate, feel free. See you there!

BEA at BVS Festival

BEA's outreach table at the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival was a great success. Thousands of people attended the festival and stopped by the table to learn and talk about ecofeminism. We sold many books and t-shirts and expanded our email tree by leaps and bounds! Thank you for your interest and support and we hope to see many of you at our teach-in on November 10th!
