Great locales and stunning photography can't save this one!

The movie starts off rather well with Arvind Swamy executing a Mission:Impossible-style high-tech robbery in a bank, for his dominating brother Prakash Raj. But he reveals his soft heart when he admits the bank security guard in the hospital after his partner(his brother's henchman) shoots him.

A flash back reveals that back in his school-going days, Arvind Swamy was adopted by Raghuvaran whose only son, Prakash Raj, was already a bonafide bad boy. When the older son threatens to kill his father, the younger promises to do anything he says and this has continued till the present day.

Arvind Swamy runs into Isha and promptly falls in love. But Isha's brother is a policeman looking for ways to put Arvind Swamy behind bars while her father is a staunch anti-love marriage man. So both are dead against their union when they learn of it. Isha herself backs out of it when she learns that Arvind Swamy is a thief but relents after realising that he is actually a good man indulging in all the anti-social activities to save his father from his brother.

So she runs away from him with everyone from Prakash Raj to the police in hot pursuit (ofcourse they stop for a duet on the way!) setting the stage for a climax in the forest.

The cinematographer and set designer have had a field day but everyone else associalted with the movie has slipped up. The scenes are disjointed, the dialogues are stale and the direction is messy. Prakash Raj takes the acting honours. Arvind Swamy looks stiff whether acting or fighting and his solo dance evokes laughs. Isha has an expressive face but looks stiff while acting too. Vadivelu and Chinni Jayanth have an unconnected, unfunny comedy track. Rehman provides some relief with a soundtrack that doesn't sound too fresh but is listenable.
