Preparing Glassware

•  Make sure the glass is completely free of detergent or odour. Note - If glasses are stored upside down the trapped air will become stale, therefore it is best to rinse these glasses.

• If the drinks served in the glass will be cold (particularly for cocktails and beer) it is a good idea to chill your glasses before using them.

• Wash and rinse glasses in very hot water. Dry and polish glasses with separate cloths.

• Use real glass and not plastic. Everything tastes better from glass.

• Try to avoid multicoloured glasses as they tend to detract from the drink itself.
