We are just a few days into the Bangladesh Premier League 2022 and things are already looking pretty settled on the points table. At the bottom of the points table, Sylhet Sunrisers and Minister Group Dhaka are fighting it out to prove their supremacy over each other. They'll have a chance to do that in the upcoming match as they will be taking on each other at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium on 28th January 2021.
Sylhet Sunrisers have played just a couple of matches and they have had a mixed kind of season so far. With one win and one loss to their name, Sylhet Sunrisers are placed at the fifth spot on the ladder, having a total of two points. A win here will push them to the third spot and that is exactly what they will be aiming to do.
They are coming off a superb win over Minister Group Dhaka, who are the same team that Sunrisers will be facing in this upcoming contest. Bowling first on an excellent surface, Sylhet Sunrisers' bowlers bowled in a terrific manner, restricting their opponents to a total of 100 runs. They then chased down the total with three wickets lost and three overs to spare.
All in all, Sylhet Sunrisers have a decent side with batting and bowling both doing well. They do have some limitations, but those are nothing that cannot be solved. They would need to play to their potential and if that happens, getting past them is going to be very difficult.

Time is running out for them and they will be desperate to rack a win here in this contest.
After doing well with the bat in their opening contest, Dhaka have largely underperformed with the bat in all the subsequent matches that they have played. They were particularly poor in their previous match, wherein they managed to put just 100 runs on the board. It was never going to be enough for their bowlers to defend and it didn't prove otherwise.
Overall, Minister Group Dhaka have a decent side with experience loaded right through, but their execution is certainly lacking. They now have a string of low scores behind them, bouncing back from which is not going to be easy. Having said that, they do have the capability and if their players are able to play to their potential, they will be in business big time.
