UAE needs to get its act together and ensure that it stays in the top-3 of the standings so that they get an automatic slot into the World Cup 2023 Qualifiers. They have played fewer matches than other teams but that does not mean much unless they start winning regularly.
Rohan Mustafa and Chirag Suri are the two batters that will have to do the bulk of the work for the UAE. They have also uncovered an excellent player in Vriitya Aravind and he can be a great pick to score runs in this match as well.
On paper, UAE's batting is not too bad but it definitely not as strong as Scotland's. If the big players hit form at the right time then UAE can more than compete with Scotland or USA in this series.
Ahmed Raza will lead the bowling attack with support from Zahoor Khan and Junaid Siddique. The bowling attack lacks too many established wicket-takers and is more based on containment. If the wicket slows up then the bowling attack could be quite useful but it is going to struggle on a flat wicket.

The conditions in Pearland have been quite decent for batting. We have seen high-scoring matches so far and the same is expected to continue once more. We think a par score for this wicket could be somewhere around 270. The spinners are going to be key in the middle to try and stop the scoring as well as to pick up wickets.
