After a poor start in the competition, Dhanbad Dynamos jumped back into the tournament in Jharkhand T20 League, rendering the points table wide open. All six teams are now well and truly in contention to qualify for the next round. This is a short tournament and we are slowly getting to the phase where each match is going to be of high importance.
Next in the tournament, Dhanbad Dynamos are set to take on Ranchi Raiders in a match that both sides will want to win. The Dynamos have just found their way back to winning ways whereas the Raiders have been in excellent form and will want to continue building on that. Both sides are expected to come out hard at each other and a cracker of a contest is certainly on the cards. The match is to be played at the Jharkhand State Cricket Association Stadium on Tuesday 21st June 2022.
Ranchi Raiders have been the best side of the tournament, winning all of their matches done so far, and look all set to get to the next round. They are in so good position that the question for them is not to qualify but to finish at the top of the ladder. Apart from six points that they have, they have an immaculate net run-rate, which just shows how dominant they have been.
Its been a while since the Raiders last played a match in the tournament and they registered a big defeat in that. Chasing a total of 150 against Singhbhum Strickers, the Raiders were in full control right throughout at they scaled down the total with seven wickets in hands and 13 balls to spare. They were excellent in both departments of the game and that wasn't really surprising given that it's been the case right through the tournament for them. If they can continue doing as they have in the competition thus far, they will be a very difficult side to get past.

After suffering a couple of back to back losses, both by massive margins, Dhanbad Dynamos finally showcased their skills in a match that mattered the most for them to survive in the tournament. Not only have they ensured their survival in the tournament, they are actually back in contention to qualify for the next round. Another win here will push them to the top-half of the ladder and that is exactly what they will be aiming for going forward.
As it currently stands on the points table, they are still at the bottom but with two points to their name. Another win here should push them ahead of a couple of more teams and that should be enough to put them ahead in the race to the playoffs. Having said that, they have some difficult assignments coming up next and winning those isn't going to be easy. Having said that, if they are able to perform as they did in their previous match, they should be in business against any opponents.

This is an important match for both these sides, albeit for different reasons. The Raiders would want to win here to consolidate their position at the top of the ladder whereas the Dynamos would be desperate for a win to climb up. Both these sides are coming off a win in their respective last matches and will be brimming with confidence. Having said that, the Raiders have had a sparkling good tournament and appear to be in a rampaging mood at the moment. Also, they have a better side on-paper between the two. For that and the other reasons stated above, a bet on Ranchi Raiders win should be the way to go here.
