We are talking about Peshawar Zalmi and the Karachi Kings of course. Peshawar Zalmi has won two out of the six matches it has played while the Karachi Kings have lost all five of their matches in PSL 2022 so far.
There has been a big break in between matches for the Karachi Kings and they would have hopefully used that to make a few changes to their tactics.
The best cricket betting sites are still favoring Peshawar Zalmi to win this match but not by much.

Peshawar Zalmi suffered a pretty big defeat to the Multan Sultans in their previous match. The team seems to have taken a step backward ever since Kamran Akmal started opening the batting and maybe it is time to reconsider some things. On paper, the batting lineup still remains strong.
Haider Ali, Liam Livingstone, Shoaib Malik, Sherfane Rutherford, and Ben Cutting are all in the lineup. These are some terrific strikers of the ball and they could enjoy the flat batting surface of Lahore against one of the weakest bowling lineups in PSL 2022.
We think betting on Haider Ali and Liam Livingstone in this match would make sense considering the kind of form they have been in and the kind of attack they will encounter.
Peshawar Zalm's bowling attack has not been at its best so far. Wahab Riaz has been very expensive and Saqib Mahmood has not been able to have the kind of impact that he did in PSL 6. Also, the lack of a frontline spinner in the team is going to hurt it.
The bowling lineup is definitely one that can be targeted by the Karachi Kings.

Karachi Kings have been struck with COVID outbreaks, injuries, and also poor form at just the wrong time. It seems as if the team also got its selections at the PSL draft wrong and has put together a team that does not seem to fit in with the modern standards of T20 cricket.
Of course, having Babar Azam (one of the best batsmen in this form of the game) and Sharjeel Khan at the top of the order gives the Karachi Kings hope that their individual brilliance may be able to bail them out. The depth in the side is lacking and we think if the team loses a couple of early wickets it is going to have to hope for a near miracle.
The overseas picks of largely untested English young players have not paid dividends. That cannot be changed at this time in the PSL and so we think Karachi Kings are going to continue to struggle.
The Karachi Kings have one of the weakest bowling attacks in PSL 2022. There is no bowler that has been able to pick up wickets or keep the runs down consistently. Maybe bringing back Chris Jordan and Usman Shinwari could help the team make some inroads but we would definitely not be betting on that happening in this match.

The conditions in Lahore are excellent weather-wise. There is no rain predicted and we should have another flat batting pitch to enjoy the game on. The pitch in Lahore is just as flat as what we saw in Karachi but there does not seem to be the same amount of dew that comes in later.
This is why there is no great advantage chasing here.
We think a score of around 170-180 should be considered par batting first.

We are going to bet on Peshawar Zalmi to win this match. At this point, you would think that the Karachi Kings are likely to win at least one match. After all, how many matches can it lose in a row! But just looking at the two teams competing, Peshawar Zalmi seems to be the stronger T20 unit in every respect. There is no cricketing justification for betting on Karachi Kings just yet.
