The Oval Invincibles Women suffered their first defeat in the Hundred Women's tournament 2021 in their previous match. The team is still placed in a good position though with two wins out of three matches. It now takes on Welsh Fire that has experienced the exact opposite!

Players like Georgia Adams, Fran Wilson, and Mady Villiers are short of runs. This has made the Oval Invincibles a bit susceptible to collapses.
Natasha Farrant and Mady Villiers have taken the most wickets for the Oval Invincibles so far. We are not sure why Shabnim Ismail did not play the previous match but her absence is a big loss. She may not have taken a wicket in the Hundred so far but her presence is a big factor. Look for her name in the lineup before you place your bets for sure.

Hayley Matthews played an exceptional match to be able to lead her side to a win against the Manchester Originals. It was the first win for Welsh Fire in the Hundred this season. While that win would have given the team some confidence, it was really more about individual brilliance from Matthews rather than the team doing anything different.
This is why we are still a bit skeptical about Welsh Fire as a team. Take Hayley Matthews out of the lineup and what you have remaining is quite average. None of the other batters have been able to assert themselves in this tournament. The bowling attack for Welsh Fire women is also quite average.
