Beating the Melbourne Renegades is a tough task but the Stars certainly have the personnel to be able to do so. They need runs from Lanning, Villani, and Sutherland once more in this contest.
The bowling lineup is going to be led by Kim Garth and Annabel Sutherland. They know that they are up against the most in-form batting lineup in the WBBL at the moment. Garth has been the leader of the attack and has had a couple of outstanding games. She, and the Stars, need one more in this match.

This batting strength is the biggest advantage that the Melbourne Renegades have and it is not going to be easy to stop.
The bowling for the Renegades has been a bit sketchy and that is where it can be taken down. Elli Falconer picked up four wickets in the previous match and showed that she can provide some excellent support to Sophie Miloneux.

The conditions are going to be very batting-friendly and we could see a high-scoring match once more. The ball comes onto the bat nicely and the outfield is very quick. Something around 150-160 could be par for the venue.
We are going to back the Melbourne Renegades to win this match. They have consistently been the best team on show in this WBBL and have a number of players in great form. The Stars have some dangerous players but they are too dependent on Lanning for our liking.
