The Adelaide Strikers Women continue to march through the field and have now got past the WBBL Eliminator. Up next for them in the WBBL Finals is the 'Challenger' where they will play against the Melbourne Renegades Women.
The Melbourne Renegades led the WBBL 2022-22 standings for much of the season and also have Harmanpreet Kaur, the MVP of the season, in their lineup.
The cricket betting sites actually have the Melbourne Renegades as the slight underdogs.
Match prediction and cricket betting tips for Melbourne Renegades Women vs Adelaide Strikers Women WBBL 2021-22 Challenger. The match is going to be played at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide on the 25th of November 2021.
The Melbourne Renegades Women have lost two out of their most recent three matches. This is a bit of a concern since we value current form very highly. They have played against the Adelaide Strikers twice this season, winning one match and losing the other.
There is no doubt that the Melbourne Renegades are a very strong team. They have Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodriguez in their lineup, both of whom are in terrific form. They also have support from Evelyn Jones, Courtney Webb, and Josephine Dooley in the batting department.
There is enough power and experience here to help the Renegades get to a winning total, no matter what happens at the toss.
The bowling is quite flexible with a number of players able to contribute. It is almost as if the team can assess the conditions and react accordingly. Sophie Molineux is the bowler that will be expected to make the early breakthroughs.
Jemimah Rodrigues, Eve Jones, Carly Leeson, Harmanpreet Kaur, Jess Duffin, Courtney Webb, Sophie Molineux, Josie Dooley, Ella Hayward, Holly Ferling, Rhiann O' Donnell.
The Adelaide Strikers continue their brilliant turnaround and now run into the Melbourne Renegades. The Strikers have been propelled to this stage largely by the performances of Katie Mack at the top. She has Laura Wolvaardt and Dane van Niekerk for support and even Tahlia McGrath is in good form.
Despite all this, we do feel that the Strikers can be vulnerable if Katie Mack falls early.
The bowling lineup for the Strikers is going to be led by Megan Schutt and Amanda Wellington. There is definitely enough capability in this side to pull off a win with the resources it has.
Dane van Niekerk, Katie Mack, Laura Wolvaardt, T McGrath, B Patterson, Maddie Penna, Amanda Wellington, T McPharlin, S Coyte, Megan Schutt, Darcie Brown.
The team that wins the toss is going to want to bat first.

The conditions in Adelaide have been spectacular for cricket. Excellent weather and a surface that is very good for batting. That is what you want to see in the WBBL Finals to allow for exciting matches. We think somewhere around 150 can be seen as par batting first.
We don't think there is too much of a difference between the teams. The Melbourne Renegades may have taken their foot off the pedal a bit towards the end of the group stage but that is only because they had already qualified. We think they have a great chance to win this match and end the fairy tale resurgence of the Adelaide Strikers.
Bet on the Melbourne Renegades to win.
