The Jamaica Tallawahs and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots are going to be playing against each other in this next CPL match. Both teams have had an excellent start to CPL 2021. The Tallawahs have won two out of three matches in dominant fashion and seem to have gotten their act together while SNP has not lost a single match so far.
Three wins from three matches have seen St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots rise to the very top of the table. Can they withstand the brute force of the Jamaica Tallawahs, though?
Match prediction and cricket betting tips for Jamaica Tallawahs vs St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots, CPL 2021. The match is going to be played at Warner Park, Basseterre, St. Kitts on the 1st of September 2021.
The Jamaica Tallawahs have had one slip up this season but in the two matches that they have won, they have looked near invincible. Kennar Lewis is such a powerful striker at the top of the order and is in great form. He scores a number of sixes and top-scored with 89 in the previous match.
Shamarah Brooks is not an obvious choice when it comes to T20 cricket but he played his part in the previous match as well.
With the likes of Chadwick Walton, Haider Ali, Andre Russell, and Rovman Powell in the lineup, this is a batting lineup that can defeat any team.
Tallawahs have traditionally struggled with their bowling but with Russell bowling four overs regularly and Pretorius taking wickets by the boatload, the team is looking quite well-balanced.
We still think they lack a quality spinner but that is something that is not going to change anytime soon.
Rovman Powell, CAK Walton, K Lewis, Haider Ali, Shamarh Brooks, Andre Russell, Carlos Brathwaite, Migael Pretorius, Christopher Green, FH Edwards, Joshua James.
The Patriots have been remarkably consistent this season of the CPL. That is largely down to the performances of Sherfane Rutherford with the bat and Dwayne Bravo finding his batting form once more!
Sherfane Rutherford is in great form and is forcing his way into the T20 World Cup squad. He is someone that you may want to consider for betting markets like ‘To Hit a Six’ or even ‘Top batsman’.
Evin Lewis, Devon Thomas, and Fabian Allen make the Patriots a terrific batting team. They may not have Russell in their lineup but they have a number of other people that can step up and get the job done.
The Patriots struggled a bit with their bowling in the previous match and that is a potential weakness in this match as well.
Dominic Drakes, Fabian Allen, and Fawad Ahmed are their best bowlers but they may struggle against the Jamaica Tallawahs power hitters.
Dwayne Bravo, Evin Lewis, DC Thomas, Asif Ali, Sherfane Rutherford, F Allen, Dominic Drakes, Sheldon Cottrell, Paul Van Meekeren, Fawad Ahmed, RS Bopara.
The team that wins the toss may want to bat first. There does not seem to be too much of an advantage to winning the toss as the pitch remains unchanged.

The weather conditions have been fantastic in St. Kitts and the same is expected for this match. The pitch is flat, a bit slow, and with low bounce. This is something that has become the norm for the Caribbean and so the players know exactly what to expect.
These are two strong batting sides so we think a lot of sixes are in store and we could have a high-scoring match.
We are going to go with the Jamaica Tallawahs in this match and back them to inflict the first defeat on the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots. Both teams have a very dangerous batting lineup but the bowling attack of the Tallawahs seems to be a bit better. We also think having Russell in the kind of form he has been is a huge advantage for the Tallawahs.
Bet on the Jamaica Tallawahs to win.
