The next round of matches in the Finnish Premier League is about to get underway and the action looks set to ramp up as the knockouts approach. The Helsinki Cricket Club (HCC) is going to be playing against the Empire Cricket Club (Empire CC) in this match. Empire CC is in second place right now and could take the top spot with a win in this match.
HCC on the other hand needs to win otherwise it risks falling away from the lead group.
Empire CC vs HCC Finnish Premier League T20 2020 is going to be played at the Kerava National Cricket Ground, Kerava on the 4th of July 2020.
Not a single ball could be bowled in the previous match that HCC was scheduled to play. HCC would not have been happy about that since it was supposed to be played against the Finnish Pakistani Club, a side that HCC would have fancied beating.
Now, the task at hand is a bit tougher.
Three losses in a row leading up to this match against the second-placed side is not the best form to be in. HCC started the Finnish Premier League T20 strong but has since floundered. There are some talented players in the team, no doubt, but they need to start performing more consistently.
We are looking at players like Khalid Rahman Mangal, Aniket Pusthay, Ghulam Abbass Butt, and Abdul-Ahad Qureshi to make an impact with the bat. As far as the bowling goes, Zakiullah Kamal, Ghulam Abbas Butt, and Obaidullah Sadiqui are the ones to watch out for.
The bowling has not been able to keep the runs down in the previous match it has played and that is a big concern going into this contest against a good batting team.

Amjad Sher scored 45 runs at the top of the order while Jonathan Scamans continued his brilliant run as well with 29 important runs in the middle.
Batsmen like Vanraaj Paadhal and Shoaib Qureshi did not get too many runs in that match but have been in good form as well. The batting strength of the Empire CC team is definitely stronger than HCC.
Mahesh Tambe picked up two wickets for just six runs in the recent match. As an all-rounder, he adds tremendous balance to the Empire CC side. He also seems to thrive under pressure. Raaz Mohammad, Amjad Sher, and Abdul Ghafar are some of the other bowlers that have performed well in the FPL so far.
Good form, better depth of talent, and confidence make Empire CC the easy favorite in this contest.

The weather is a concern leading into this match as well. While the forecast is better than it has been for the last few days, there is still a lot of rain around. We could very well have some delays and maybe even a washout if we are unlucky.
The pitch is going to remain pretty much unchanged seeing as it is an artificial surface. The outfield will become heavier than it was and so boundary hitting is going to be difficult.
