The Falcon Hunters and the Pearl Gladiators are coming into this Qatar T10 League match with very different mindsets. The Falcon Hunters have won three out of the four matches they have played so far and are in an excellent position on the league table.
The Pearl Gladiators, on the other hand, have not won a single match so far and need to find a way to turn things around. They suffered a 48 runs defeat in their previous match, which is massive by T10 standards.
The Qatar T10 League group stage is drawing to a close and this will be the final match for the Falcon Hunters. The Pearl Gladiators, however, will have one more match after this one.
Falcon Hunters vs Pearl Gladiators Qatar T10 League 2019 is going to be played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha on the 13th of December 2019.
Bowling a team out for 45 in a T10 match is as good a bowling performance as one can hope for. That is exactly what the Falcon Hunters did in their previous match against Flying Oryx. Waqas Maqsood, Amad Butt, and Murad Khan were exceptional with the ball. Amad Butt took three wickets in his 1.3 overs without giving away a single run!
There was no way that the Falcon Hunters was going to lose after that but just to prove their point, the Falcon Hunters also chased down the target in just 4.3 overs.
Hashim Amla and Salman Butt remained not out and ensured there was not a hint of doubt in the chase.
The Falcon Hunters are unlikely to change anything in this match either. Their bowling is in very good form and will hope to continue its good work.
Salman Butt, Hashim Amla, Kamran Khan, and Babar Hayat also help form a pretty strong batting lineup for the Falcon Hunters.
In a tournament where a number of sides have seemed unbalanced and lacking in quality, the Falcon Hunters have all areas of the game well covered at the moment.

Chasing anything over a 100 is challenging and that was proved once again in the previous match that the Pearl Gladiators played. They have to get 116 for victory and folded for just 67 runs on the board. That batting collapse just puts into focus the problems they have had this season.
Faisal Javed, Sohaib Maqsood, Malinda Pushpakumara, and Saqlain Arshad were the players that batted in the top-order in the previous match. None of these players have shown an ability to clear the boundaries or play with any sort of consistency.
T10 may be a very short format but it is not just about slogging.
The Pearl Gladiators may have the weakest batting lineup in the entire Qatar T10 League.
Mohammad Sami is going to lead the attack for the Pearl Gladiators and the old Pakistani warhorse showed he still has a lot left in the tank. He gave away just seven runs in the previous match and took one wicket as well.
Ajantha Mendis seems to a spent force, though, and is not going to be able to have too much impact going further.
While the bowling seems to be decent for the Pearl Gladiators, we don’t think it is strong enough t overcome its batting weaknesses.

The weather forecast for Doha is pretty good. There is no rain expected on match day and we should be able to get an uninterrupted match. The pitch has remained exactly the same and shown no deterioration so far. In fact, if anything, it has become a bit better to bat on.
A score of around 110 remains par for the surface.
