The semifinal day in the ECS Germany Krefeld T10 produced two cracking games of cricket with two higher-seeded teams eventually managed to get home. While the race to the top spot is already over for the two losing sides, they will still want to register a win in what is going to be the last match for both those sides. The third-place playoff of the tournament will be played between Koln CC and Bayer Uerdingen Boosters on 29th May 2021 at Bayer Uerdingen Cricket Ground, Krefeld.
Bayer Uerdingen Boosters are one of the newest teams in the German cricketing scene and will be happy to even reach this stage. Led by Kumar Mahendran, they have done a decent job by winning some close matches. The highlight of their campaign was the win over Dusseldorf Blackcaps and they would certainly have derived a lot of confidence from that.
In the semi-final, they were defeated by Bonn Blue Star, who will now be facing MSC Frankfurt in the grand finale of ECS Germany Krefeld. On paper, BUB have a fairly young but super talented side. They have depended heavily on Aritharan Vaseekaran and will need him to do well again. If that happens, Bayer Berdingen Boosters will be in business big time.

Koln CC were so close to a final spot, but thanks to several misfields and dropped catches, they threw it away. In the tournament up until then, Koln CC did a decent job and will be disappointed not to qualify. They are a stupendous team on paper and with fantastic in-form players, they will be a difficult side to deal with.
The likes of Irfan Ahmed, Tejas Morbagal, and Asmdin Zadran have played key roles in Koln CC's journey up until now and will want to do the job for the one final time. If they perform to their potential, defeating Koln CC would be a difficult job.

Koln CC, on the other hand, are a better team on paper than BUB but have been a little too inconsistent. Having said that, betting on a more experienced Koln CC should be the way to go in this all-important encounter.
