The top-4 teams at the end of the group stage of the Finnish Premier League have been all but decided. This next match between the Bengal Tigers Club (BTC) and the Helsinki Cricket Club (HCC) looks set to settle the issue once and for all.
BTC is currently in fifth place and needs to win both its remaining matches to have a shot of finishing in the top-4. Even then it will have to hope for a few results to go its way. HCC, on the other hand, is in third place and another win here will confirm its participation in the playoffs.
Both teams have everything to play for.
BTC vs HCC Finnish Premier League T20 2020 is going to be played at the Kerava National Cricket Stadium, Kerava on the 5th of August 2020.
Two losses in its last two matches have hurt BTC’s chances of making it to the playoffs. The timing of those losses could not have been worse and many would argue that BTC now effectively is knocked out of the running already.
The inconsistent batting performances of BTC have been responsible for most of the trouble it has had in the Finnish Premier League this season. The team was unfortunate to come up short in a rain-affected match with a DLS target against FPC in its most recent match.
Now, BTC must play to its strengths and try to win against the in-form HCC.
The biggest strength that BTC has in its side is Tonmoy Kumar Saha. One of the best all-rounders of the entire tournament, Saha is just one run short of being the highest-scorer for BTC and is also the highest wicket-taker. He has to be given every chance to have the most impact possible on this match.
The batting strength of the side is a bit poor and definitely weaker than what HCC brings to the table. Unless one of Saha or maybe Nurul Huda plays an exceptional inning, the likelihood of BTC out batting HCC is slim.
Tonmoy Kumar Saha is going to lead the bowling attack as well with support from Belayat Khan.

With four wins out of its previous four matches, HCC is storming into the playoffs. In fact, its rise is coming at the perfect time and it will take a lot of momentum with it in the upcoming important matches.
HCC has found an excellent rhythm to its batting in recent matches and that is why it has been winning.
Abdul-Ahad Qureshi, Aniketh Pusthay, Ghulam Abbas Butt, and Zahidullah Kamal have taken over the batting leadership roles and are playing in a very consistent manner. In fact, not only are they scoring runs regularly, but they are also scoring them very fast.
This makes the HCC batting very dangerous. It has more power, more depth, and better form coming into this match than BTC.
The bowling for HCC is going to be lead by Zakiullah Kamal. He is the only bowler to have double-digit wickets to his name. This lack of impact in the bowling is a concern and could be a major problem as HCC lines up against some of the stronger teams in knockout matches.
For the time being, though, we think their bowling attack should be enough to handle what BTC throws at it.

A dry spell has been forecast in Kerava over the next few days. This means there should not be any rain-related interruptions or DLS calculations to affect the outcome of this match. We expect conditions to favor the batsmen and a score of around 140 to be par batting first.
We have no hesitation in backing HCC for this match. Their batting is stronger and they have won the previous four matches they have played. Everything seems to be going their way at the moment.
