We are down to the final few days in the Women's Big Bash League, which is certainly gearing up for a top-drawer finish. All eight sides have each played ten matches at least already and with not much to go, each match hereon will be of massive importance. Melbourne Renegades Women have already sealed a spot for them, but the three spots are still well and truly for any side to be occupied.
Up next in the tournament, Brisbane Heat Women will be taking on Sydney Sixers Women in a quest to get a step closer to the semifinal spot. Sydney Sixers, as well, are in dire need of a win here. We expect both sides to come out hard at each other in this upcoming fixture, which is to be played Ray Mitchell Oval, Harrup Park, Mackay on 13th November 2021.
Exactly opposite to Sydney Sixers Women, Brisbane Heat Women were never the favorites to win the title, but with most of the tournament already done and dusted, they certainly look good for the title. In the previous meeting against the same team as well, Brisbane Heat Women played brilliantly to hand them an eight-wicket win.
As it currently stands, Brisbane Heat Women are placed third on the points table with 13 points and a win here for them will push them to the second spot. The likes of Grace Harris, Georgia Redmayne, and Laura Kimmince have done exceedingly well up until now and will be hoping to build on that.
All in all, Brisbane Heat Women have punched well above their weight and they have the resources to continue doing that in the upcoming matches as well. If they are able to continue doing well in the upcoming matches as well, they should really enjoy some success in the upcoming matches.
Grace Harris, Georgia Redmayne, Georgia Voll, Mikayla Hinkley, Laura Kimmince Harris, Anneke Bosch, Jess Jonassen, Nadine de Klerk, Courtney Sippel, Georgia Prestwidge, Poonam Yadav.
Sydney Sixers Women have had a roller-coaster of a tournament up until now, managing to win just four of the total matches they had scheduled up until now. They are placed sixth but are still pretty much in the hunt to qualify for the next round. A win here will push them to the fourth spot on the ladder and that is exactly what they will be aiming for.
It has been surprising to see Sydney Sixers struggle for consistency largely because of their star-struggled lineup. The likes of Elysse Perry and Elyssa Healy are a terrific opening pair for any given side on its day, but consistency has not been their quality in this edition.
On paper, the Sixers have a decent side and if they are able to perform to their potential, getting past them is going to get remarkably difficult.
Alyssa Healy, Shafali Verma, Angela Reakes, Ellyse Perry, Ashleigh Gardner, Nicole Bolton, Lauren Cheatle, Radha Yadav, Stella Campbell, Maitlan Brown, Emma Hughes.

This is an important match for both sides, but for contrasting reasons. For Brisbane Heat Women, a win will push them into a terrific position with respect to a qualifying spot. For Sydney Sixers Women, however, this match is more of a matter of survival. Even though the Sixers have more star-power available, Brisbane Heat Women appear to be a lot better side. Backing Brisbane Heat Women to win this should be the way to go here in this match.
