Since the heart functions to dominate the blood and vessels and to house the mind , pathological changes with palpitations , insomnia and mental disorders as the main symptoms and signs are treated according to differentiation of syndromes of the heart . Points are mainly selected from the Heart Meridian of Hand - Shaoyin and the Pericardium Meridian of Hand - Jueyin . The corresponding Back - Shu Points are also used .
