YANG ZI SHI KE ZHU XUE IN ZIWU THEORYCao Yiming, Wei Xiangwu (Tianjin College of TCM, Tianjin) "Ziwu Theory" (the Midnight-Noon Flow)consists of *'Najia" and "Na Zi" (Selecting the points based on the Five Shu Points of the 12 regular changes in Which the method by matching the Heavenly Stems and Earthly Branches), Besides, we have found another manipulation, the method of "Yang Zi Shi Ke Zhu Xue" (Opening the points based on Yang Zi Shi Chen). The method of "Yang Zi Shi Ke Zhu Xue" was found firstly in "Ziwu Liuzhu Zhen Jing" (the acupuncture classics on Ziwu Theory) written by He Rueyu, noted by Yan Ming-guang in ancient Jin Dynasty. The so called "Yang Zi" refers to the mutual generation of matters according to the theory of the Five Element, "Shi Ke" means 12 shi chen (time interval, equivalent 12 "two hours" a day), "Zhu Xue" means that the Qi and blood pour into each point of 12 meridians at its Shi Chen. This is an acupuncture manipulation based on the theories of Nature and Humanbeing Coresponding to Each Other, and according to the rising and falling, opening and closing of the Qi and Blood when they start out, flow, pays, pour, run and reach into and join, the 66 points of Jing (well), Ying (Spring), Shu (Stream), Yuan (Source), Jing River and He (sea) points. The manipulation is matched to Yin and Yang, the theory of Five Elements, the Heavenly Stems and the Earthly Branches etc. The key point of thid method is "Shi Gan". Each "Shi Chen" consists of 5 degrees of mutral promoting "Yang Zi". Each flows to the 5 points Jing, Ying, Shu, Jing. He respectively. Each point may last for 1,6 "Ke". Each point may open once every 24 minutes. There would be 100 Ke with opening of 60 points in 12 Shi Chen every day. The regularity of selecting the points with the method of "Yang Zi Shi Ke Zhu Xue" is opening the Jing (well) points in its own meridians, and then select the other points in its Shi Chen depending on the principles of the opening Yang points in "Yang Shi," opening Yin points in "Yin Shi;" and meridians Generate meridians, points generate point etc. In each "Shi Chen" each day, Qi and blood may pour in to 5 meridians, while 5 points may open in each "Shi Chen" a day. When it is in the Yang Heavenly Stems (including the first, third, fifth, seventh, ninth of the Heavenly Stems again the Qi and blood may pour into the Five Shu points of San Jiao Meridian; when it is in the Yin Heavenly stems (including the second, fourth, sixth, eight, tenth of the Heavenly Stems), the Qi and Blood may join the Five Shu Points of the pericardium meridians. With this method, 5 points may open in each Shi Chen, and the points may open evenly in every Shi Chen a day, and day by day like this. This method is more convening than ten "Na lia" and "Na Zi" in clinical practice, meanwhile, apart from points of the San liao meridian and the pericardium meridian; the other points may open identically in the same "Shi Chen" in Heavenly Stems, so it is easy to learn. We tried out the method of "Yang Zi Shi Ke Zhu ue" and select the points according to the differentiation of syndromes to observe the 54 cases of hypertension in the clinic randomly. The patients were divided into two groups, each contained 27 cases. The course of treatment contained 10 times, once every other day. The comparison of the curative effect was carried on after two courses of treatment. The diastolic pressure in the group with "Yang Zi Shi Ke Zhu Xue" dropped 8.77 mmHg in average lower than the group with "Selecting the acupuncture points according to the differentiation of syndroms. The systolic pressure in the former group dropped 7.97 mmHg lower than the latter. In statistical analysis, the difference of systolic pressure between the two groups was significant (P<0.05), and the difference of diastolic pressure being more significant (P< 0.01). The curative rate in the former group was higher than the latter. |
